Texas A&M University: A Campus Divided by Transit While Texas A&M University boasts a beautiful campus with a vibrant student life, its transportation infrastructure leaves much to be desired. The lack of dedicated parking spaces for both personal vehicles and delivery services creates congestion and frustration. Additionally, the excessive security measures surrounding student residences, reminiscent of a police academy, feel isolating and hinder accessibility. While the university's commitment to student safety is commendable, the current implementation creates a sense of division rather than fostering a welcoming environment. A more balanced approach that prioritizes both security and accessibility is crucial for the well-being of all campus residents and visitors.

What kind of school threatens arrest for a former student (who paid for the daily parking) that is fishing?? I was always told I was welcome back on campus to fish anytime I wanted after graduation. But turns out, once they get your money, they'll threaten you with arrest if you come back to try to fish. I even presented my old student badge and aggie ring. They didn't care. Took my ring off that day and have yet to put it back on. Anyone want a class ring?

We visited the campus; everything was amazing EXCEPT their transportation services - what a scam! We came to visit the campus for admissions and found our van was ticketed in a visitor parking garage for $35. It was cited for "improper parking" because we were "backed in space". If there are rules that are nuanced to Texas A&M department of transportation services, then they should have posted their rules in visible places. Even worse, if you try to dispute it, there's a message on their website stating that "not knowing" is not a valid reason for disputing the ticket. I have a van and park that way frequently because it can be dangerous to blindly back such a large vehicle into oncoming traffic. If the transportation department had their own site - this review would have gone there. Seeing as this is the only place I can warn others about this scam - I'm posting it here! Apologies to the university itself. We loved the campus and everyone we got to meet!

The atmosphere is phenomenal! The campus is very big with lots of eating places. I went to a football game & enjoyed 😉all aspects of the Stadium. From the time I entered gates until the time I went in to be a spectator. They had restroom attendants keeping the area clean from trash off the floor & restrooms stocked with toiletries. The food was 👍great!
